This Ghanaian Beauty Brand Makes The Best Eyebrow Pencil For Dark Skin
Evita Joseph is probably the most popular Ghanaian beauty brand. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some of their products for a while, so when they sent me their new Expert BrowLiner, I was quite thrilled.
This is going to be a pretty short post simply because I don’t have a lot of information to work with.
Evita Joseph Expert BrowLiner Review and Swatches
This claims to be water-proof, to have a matte finish and to be long-lasting. And it lives up to those claims.
It is a thin retractable brow pencil. It is just a pencil, it does not have a spoolie at the other end.
I’m not sure how many shades of this there are, but I was sent two shades: Chestnut Brown and Midnight Drop. Chestnut Brown is a medium brown. Midnight Drop is black, but it is not a stark unwearable black. I actually really like it. It is literally the same shade as my actual brow hairs.
These brow pencils remind me a lot of the NYX Microbrow pencils in terms of the formula. They go on matte, last pretty much all day, and they don’t turn shiny in the heat. While I would’ve loved if they’d come with a spoolie, the pencil is thin enough that I get perfect, hair-like natural strokes and I can get away without needing to comb through my brows with a spoolie.
I really like these, especially the shade Midnight Drop. I never would’ve reached for a black brow product, but this shade looks great.
